Privacy Policy — Clearly

(주)민트기술 Mintech.kr (“we”, “us”) operates the mobile application Clearly (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We value your privacy, and our core principle is that we do not collect your data.

1. Information We Collect

Clearly does not collect any personally identifiable information. No account or sign-in is required to use the App.

2. On-Device Processing and Storage

  • The text you bring in (clipboard, text files, web articles), the summaries and titles generated, and your app settings are stored only on your device.
  • Text-to-speech is performed using on-device Supertonic TTS; your text is never sent to any external server.
  • Summary and title generation use Apple’s on-device foundation models (Apple Intelligence) and are processed on your device.
  • We do not collect, access, or store any of this data.

3. Fetching Web Page Content

When you enter a website URL, the App connects directly to that website to extract its main content. In this process, the request is sent to the website you chose, and that site’s own privacy policy applies. We do not collect or intermediate this communication, and the extracted text is stored only on your device.

4. Third Parties, Analytics, and Advertising

  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
  • The App contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
  • We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • All data is stored on your device. Deleting an item within the App, or deleting the App itself, removes the associated data.
  • Because no user data is stored on our servers, no separate deletion request process is needed.

6. Children’s Privacy

Clearly does not collect personal information from any user, including children.

7. Security

Outbound web requests are made over secure connections (HTTPS). Because your data is kept only on your device, the risk of external exposure is minimized.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in response to legal requirements or changes to the App’s features. Any changes will be posted on this page.
