Privacy Policy — mintOps

(주)민트기술 Mintech.kr (“we”, “us”) operates the application mintOps for iPhone, iPad and Mac (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We value your privacy, and our core principle is that we do not collect your data.

1. Information We Collect

mintOps does not collect any personally identifiable information. No account or sign-in is required to use the App, and nothing is sent to servers operated by us.

2. On-Device Storage

  • Saved connection details (host, port, username) and app settings are stored only on your device.
  • Passwords, SSH private keys and Tailcat identity keys are kept in your device’s Keychain and never leave it.
  • Files the file viewer downloads from your server are cached temporarily and deleted when the session ends.
  • We do not collect, access, or store any of this data.

3. Communication With Your Servers

The App connects over SSH to servers you enter yourself. Commands, terminal output and file contents travel only between your device and that server; none of it passes through us.

With a Tailcat connection, traffic runs inside a WireGuard tunnel. While your device and the server cannot reach each other directly, a DERP relay operated by Tailscale may forward the encrypted packets. The relay cannot read them, and we neither operate relays nor have access to that traffic. Tailscale’s terms of service and privacy policy apply to Tailcat’s operation.

4. Third Parties, Analytics, and Advertising

  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
  • The App contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
  • We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • All data is stored on your device. Deleting a connection or key within the App, or deleting the App itself, removes the associated data.
  • Since no user data is kept on our servers, no separate deletion request is necessary.

6. Children’s Privacy

mintOps does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Security

All communication with your servers is encrypted with SSH, and Tailcat connections are additionally encrypted with WireGuard. Secrets are stored only in the device Keychain.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or in the App. Changes will be announced on this page.
